Drifting Creatives

The third site that I had the privilege of partnering with Drifting Creatives to produce was their own. The art that they produced made this one a pleasure.

This was also a challenge, since they had an existing WordPress site full of blog entries they wanted to pull in, so I got to work out a good deal of database migration issues. I also set up a custom taxonomy for their portfolio entries, and did some fairly intricate scripting to get the layout to work as desired.

HTML5.tx

The initial graphic assets for this site were produced by the incomparable Drifting Creatives. Gavin and Martin are great artists, and I love working with them. We built on WordPress, and I made the site theme as well as pulling together some plugin functionality.

One Texas Conference

This is a PHP-based site with no CMS platform. Designed by Drifting Creatives, it employs some light server-side scripting as well as some client-side jQuery to accomplish the menu hover effects.

Mobile Alum

I did all of the graphic design, logo design and layout for this site. It’s built on WordPress at the client’s request, and illustrates that WP sites don’t have to take advantage of blog functionality to extend content-editing capability to non-technical staff. I also did the iPhone mockups.

FrogSlayer

This is a WordPress site which includes a multi-user blog. I did all of the content, graphics, markup and layout. I also handled initial deployment of the site to a server that we set up, installed and modified several plugins for extended functionality, and am managing the server and site maintenance.

Fair and Feminist

Fair and Feminist is a single-user WordPress site. I designed all of the graphics and built a fully customized theme. I also masterminded the migration from the client’s original WordPress deployment to a new environment, ensuring that none of the blog posts or other content were lost in the transition.

Morelco

I did a WordPress deployment for Morelco. They already had their own logo, and left it to me to design the rest of their graphics (including several icons and a set of custom social links). I also handled the site deployment, and arranged their content on the site according to their specifications.

Sam Hooker

My site is built on WordPress, which is my CMS of choice. I built all of the graphics and wrote all of the content on the site. I included a special font for the headers from TypeKit.

My Card

This is a simple HTML/CSS “business card” site. I produce these sites for customers who either have no content to put online, don’t want to put any content online, or need a low-cost alternative to a complete website. I produced all of the graphic, style and markup assets for this site, as well as the deployment and hosting.
